Brushstrokes " Two Years of Discovery at Arts for Rural Texas
Through January
Arts for Rural Texas is announces the opening of Brushstrokes, an exhibition of paintings by eleven painters.  This body of work is the culmination of 2 years of study by a group consisting primarily of women you have never previously painted.  It demonstrates the possibilities that can be found when people seek to learn and to follow a dream.  It is so common for people to express their enjoyment of art but to quickly follow with, I can t paint or even draw a straight line.   The 11 artists not only can paint but have experienced joy in the discovery of their own styles and expressive voices. The exhibit will open at the artists reception to be held at ARTS, 114 N. Live Oak, Fayetteville, TX.  The public is invited to attend the opening and may view the works throughout the month of January.
